About me
Photography has accompanied me throughout my life. It has served me as a way of engaging with reality. Since 1968 my pictures fall mostly into the category of photojournalism. In 2007 I enrolled in the photographic department at the Free Academy for Visual Arts in Essen, Germany.
These studies have encouraged me in my search for a personal form of expression and helped me to see my work in an art-historical context.
